Hi, I’m Brooke Stubbs - a poet and writer who explores love, loss, and transformation through words. My work represents the continuous journey of tuning inward through my experiences, to create poetry that speaks to both myself and hopefully you.
Author of Things I Never Told You and The Pavement I Still Follow, a series collection that traces the stories of heartbreak, healing, and self-discovery. My writing is deeply influenced by my human condition and the ways we carry stories in our everyday lives.

The Pavement I Still Follow, is a poetry collection that walks the reader through love, loss, and the haunting that follows. Structured through the lens of tarot—The Lovers, The Tower, The Hermit, Death, and The World—the book depicts the journey of a soul connection, rupture, solitude, transformation, and integration. This is a collection for anyone who has ever loved someone in silence with no promise of return.
About the Author
About me! I am a queer self published author, who has been writing poetry since the age of 10. Words have always been my way of making sense of the world. Through my work, l aim to build community, spark conversation, and hold space for the emotions and stories we often leave unspoken. Sharing lived experiences, especially through a queer lens, is not just my passion-it's my purpose. In my spare time I enjoy spiritual practices/growth, reading, creating art, volunteering, and spending time with my dog OJ.
